Seeing that she didn’t want to talk much about what happened last night, Archer Quinn knew in his heart that she still wasn’t open enough with him to discuss everything without reservation.
Even though he was willing to tell her everything and help her with anything, she still held back on matters of the heart when it came to him.
Archer Quinn felt a little frustrated inside.
"Senior Quinn, what’s wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Bella Acker asked worriedly, noticing that he took the apple but didn’t eat it.
Archer Quinn smiled, "I’m fine." With that, he took a bite of the apple.
Seeing his expression, Bella kind of guessed that he might be feeling a bit uneasy inside. She hesitated and then explained, "Senior Quinn, it’s not that I don’t want to tell you what happened, it’s just that this matter is a bit complicated. Even I haven’t figured it out, and it involves the previous generation, so I don’t really want to talk about it."
Hearing her explanation, Archer’s earlier frustration suddenly eased a lot.
"It’s okay, if you don’t want to talk about it, we won’t," Archer said with a smile. "I just don’t want to see you looking so down."
Bella forced a smile and changed the topic, "Senior Quinn, there are a lot of your fans waiting outside the hospital. They just asked me to take good care of you. They seem really worried about you. Do you want to post a message on Weibo to let them know you’re okay?"
"Sure." Archer nodded and actually picked up his phone. After taking a selfie, he waved her over, "Bella, come here, let’s take a picture together for Weibo."
"My face looks so tired today; will the photo turn out ugly?" Though she said this, Bella still cooperatively stood next to Archer.
"Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you look beautiful." Archer held the phone far away, adjusted the angle to show Bella looking cute and pretty, and then pressed the side button to take the photo.
The photo captured them standing closely, with a small gap between, their smiles looking very nice.
Archer posted both the selfie and the picture of the two of them on Weibo, accompanied by the caption, "With a good friend by my side, even being sick isn’t boring. I’m fine, thanks for everyone’s concern."
A few minutes after the Weibo post, there were already hundreds of comments below.
Seeing his gentle and bright smile, the fans felt much relieved. They all lined up to send their blessings, hoping that the friendship between the two would last forever.
A few moments after posting on Weibo, Archer’s phone rang. The caller ID showed it was Brother Sutton.
As soon as the call connected, Brother Sutton’s first words were, "Archer, I was just about to arrange a romance publicity stunt for you and Bella Acker. What do you think you’re doing with that Weibo post?"
"Old Sutton, you can use anyone for publicity with me, but not her," Archer replied seriously. "I’ll say this only once."
On the other end, Brother Sutton was at a loss for words, "I’m just trying to create opportunities for you."
"No need," Archer refused firmly and decisively.
Not to mention Bella has someone she likes now, and he doesn’t want to make things difficult for her. He’s never even thought about confessing. Even if Bella and Damian Sinclair broke up, he’d want to pursue her openly, not through media manipulation.
Brother Sutton was silent for a while, finally giving up, "Do whatever you want, it’s up to you."
