In addition to his position as Consultant for the Sierra College SBDC, Don is currently the Business Development Manager for Cypress Home Loan Corp. in Roseville.  Don has over forty years in the retail business.  He was a Group Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Vice President/Store Manager for Weinstock's in Stockton and Sacramento,  Vice President/Store Manager of Macy's in Citrus Heights and Modesto.  He owned and operated a small department store/shoe store in Oregon.  After retiring from the retail business, Don was a commercial real estate salesperson and later a supervisor for The Sacramento Job Corp.  Don is currently a member of the Roseville Planning Commission.

Don was an adjunct professor at San Joaquin Delta College, as well as professor at Southern Oregon State University.  He has been ad adjunct professor at Sierra College for over twenty years.

Don has been active in his local communities serving as President of the Rotary Club and served on the Board of Advisors to the Business Department at the University of the Pacific.  He as appointed by President Nixon to be Metro-Chairman for the National Alliance of Businessmen for nine counties in California.
